About Us

Founded in 1926, Wonersh Bowling Club has developed into a mature, well run and superbly equipped bowling club, privately owned and maintained by the members.  It has six full sized rinks and a fully functional club house and is among the best lawn green bowling clubs in Surrey

Situated in the heart of the village, behind the Memorial Hall and at the foot of Chinthurst Hill and well away from any main roads the members enjoy a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Summer evening bowling is enhanced by the surrounding fields and cottages with the flora and fauna to be expected in an English country village.

Both external and internal competitions are catered for as well as a busy match schedule with other local clubs. Regular coaching is given, free of charge to members, both juniors and seniors and at all levels of expertise. The club provides four free group coaching sessions for new adult and junior members.

The club compete in the Three Counties triples league and are reigning Division One Champions, having won the league in 2023.
